Lingual Consultancy Deutschland GmbH (LC) is a language service provider with our European branch office here in Berlin, Germany. We service multiple industry verticals requiring customized solutions in translation & localisation, interpretation, voice-over, subtitles, dubbing and other language related services. LC is one of the top companies providing language services in the industry with its pool of more than 16000 translators / interpreters / transcribers/ Voice artists across the globe.

As a Sales Manager, you will be using your knowledge and experience of the Translation, Localization or Content industries to drive and accelerate profitable business growth. You will be involved in working independently to generate leads from various campaigns and build new client relationships, growing sales and profitability and providing sales expertise in the day-to-day management of client prospects. Prior experience from the industries mentioned above is an advantage.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Generate new clients and develop business via telephone and email
  • Identify potential customers within all industry segments and introduce them to Lingual Consultancy pitching them the services we provide.
  • Develop and execute your territory sales plan.
  • Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by closely interacting with potential clients & understanding their requirements.
  • Identify decision makers in the organization and pursue a phone meeting, video conferencing interaction, or face to face meeting for business discussions.
  • Give corporate presentations to the clients.
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates through a composition of all the required elements.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Ability to promote LC’s services via online media to ensure maximum brand visibility, generating brand recognition for LC.
  • Create brand value for Lingual Consultancy across DACH, contributing also to our international presence.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Skills Required:

  • Understands the importance of LC’s reputation and ensures retention of that image by continuously enhancing the organization’s performance in the DACH region.
  • Should have 0 to 5 years’ experience within a Translation, Content or Localization company.
  • Good business sense.
  • Strong Communication Skills in German, both written and verbal.
  • Good Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and persuasiveness.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter and positive attitude.
  • Confidence in presenting to large groups of people.
  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Smart and well presented, professional attitude.
  • Willing to travel frequently across Europe for business purpose as needed (0-15% approximate) to attend trade events, or business meetings in DACH.

Remuneration: Fixed monthly amount + Incentives

Work rights: EU work rights (must have)

Languages: German at a native level, English at a Business level.
